Joan Victoria (Bannan) Mosher
The death of Mrs. Joan Victoria (Bannan) Mosher, wife of the late John
Mosher, occurred at her residence on March 18, 2004. Born in Saint
John, she was the daughter of Albert and Althea B. (Doyle) Bannan. She
was an Auxillary member of the Legion of Mary and a member of the
Heart and Stroke Foundation. She is survived by: three sons; Gary
Dumas and Ronald Dumas, both of Toronto, and Paul Dumas of Thunder
Bay, four daughters; Cheryl (Wade Allaby) of Springfield, Janice (Ira
Prosser) of Riverview, Joanne (Jacques Babin) of Rothesay, Michelle
Dumas of Toronto, one brother Patrick (Patricia) Bannan of Saint John,
one sister; Ann (James Crozier) of Saint John, two aunts; Dolly
Waddington of Oshawa and Louise Bannan of Saint John, two uncles; Ken
Batson of Windsor, Ont. and Charles Kelly of Saint John. She is also
survived by eleven grandchildren; Terra, Shannon, Damien, Jeremy,
Travis, Kaitlyn, Adam, Ryan, Melissa, Richard, Kayla, seven
great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was a
loving Mother, grandmother, and sister. She will be sadly missed by
her family.
Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street (634-1965), from where the funeral will be held on Monday at 11:50 to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception for Mass of Christian burial at 12 o'clock. Visiting on Saturday 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.Donations to Romero House or the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated by her family.
