Lionel Joseph Comeau

<p>It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Lionel Joseph Comeau of Saint John, NB, which occurred on January 20, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on December 1, 1929 he was a son of the late Edward and Emma (Doucet) Comeau. Lionel was employed in construction in Ontario and New Brunswick and later drove taxi in Saint John. He enjoyed fishing. He is survived by sons, Frank of Saint John and Richard of Halifax; sisters, Martina Foote and Hilda Pitre both of Saint John; brothers, Cletus and Roger both of Bathurst; grandchildren, Jillian and Jared; great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by sister, Rita Legace. To honour Lionel&rsquo;s request there will be no funeral home visiting or service. Interment will take place in St. Joseph&rsquo;s Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
